Arista Transitions, Trim & Stair Pieces
Arista has a matching piece for every transition and stair in your project.
All pieces come in 72” lengths unless noted.
- T-Molding: transitions between two floors at the same height. Use in doorways with matching floor heights, or in runs longer than 40 ft.
- Reducer: steps down from Arista to a lower floor or subfloor. Use where Arista meets carpet, tile, or bare subfloor, at fireplace hearths, or at sliding door thresholds.
- End Cap: terminates the floor and covers the expansion gap on a finished edge. Use where the floor meets a sliding glass door or hearth and a baseboard isn't an option.
- Quarter Round: covers the expansion gap along walls or cabinets. Use when keeping existing baseboards.
- Round Stair Nosing: finishes the front edge of a step and pairs with a plank for a full tread. Use for most stair installations, landings, and the top step of any staircase.
- Stair Tread & Riser: all-in-one tread with white riser (47" long). Use on standard individual steps when you want a one-piece solution.
To find pieces for your color, go to your Arista product page and scroll to the Buy Transitions section, or from the Arista Trim & Stair Accessories page.
Stair Options
Both options match the rest of your floor. The Arista Stair Tread and Riser is the faster, one-piece install. The Arista Nosing Round paired with a matching plank is more flexible, required for top steps, landings, and open-return stairs.

Common Questions
Do I need a transition piece between every room?
Only where floor heights differ, materials change, or a single run exceeds 40 ft. Within a continuous Arista run, no transitions are needed.
Can I use Arista Nosing Round on a landing?
Yes you can. Landings install the same way as a step, pair the nosing with however many planks cover the full depth.
Can I install Arista stairs over my existing bullnose?
The Arista Nosing Round is designed for a square (90°) step edge without an existing bullnose. If your existing step has a bullnose, that edge should be cut back to square before installation.
