How Does Shipping Work?
How your order ships depends on its size. Full flooring orders arrive by freight truck and are delivered to your curbside by appointment. Small few box orders, trim only orders, and sample orders ship by regular parcel. Here's how the freight shipping process works.
The Shipment Process
- We secure your flooring on pallets and book the best carrier for your location.
- You receive a tracking email once your order leaves our warehouse.
- The carrier calls to schedule a delivery appointment once your order reaches a local terminal nearest the destination.
- On delivery day, most carriers send a heads-up with a tighter arrival window.
- The driver lowers the pallet to your curb via lift-gate and a pallet-jack.
- You inspect and sign off on the delivery.
Plan for Delivery Day
- Plan for a large freight truck. If your street, driveway, or curb is tight, let us know at ordering so we can flag it for the carrier.
- The driver delivers to the curb only, not into your home, garage, or up a driveway.
- Pallets of flooring are heavy, so be sure to have help lined up.
- Someone must be present to sign. The carrier will coordinate a window with you in advance.

Inspecting Your Delivery
Walk around every pallet before signing. If you see damage:
- Note it on the bill of lading with the driver before signing.
- Take clear photos of the damaged boxes and pallet.
- Email support@flooret.com with your photos and order number.
Don't refuse the delivery unless the entire shipment is unsalvageable. Refusing causes longer delays than replacing a few damaged boxes. Accept, document, and we'll handle the rest.
If damage isn't visible until you open the boxes, you have 3 months from receipt to file a claim. See What Do I Do If My Order Arrives Damaged?.
After Delivery
Read the printed instructions inside the boxes before installing. Additional resources are found within our Technical Documents.
