What is the warranty?

Every Flooret floor is covered against manufacturing defects, and Modin, Silvan, and Arista all carry Lifetime residential warranties. Coverage by collection is below, with a download link for each full warranty document.

Warranty Terms by Collection

  • Modin Signature, Microbevel, Craftsman, Herringbone: Lifetime residential, 20-year commercial. Full warranty
  • Modin Base: Lifetime residential, 10-year commercial. Full warranty
  • Silvan Resilient Hardwood: Lifetime residential, 10-year commercial. Full warranty
  • Arista Laminate: Lifetime residential, 15-year commercial. Full warranty
  • Provence Natural Hardwood: terms detailed in the warranty document. Full warranty
What's Covered

Manufacturing defects: structural failures, finish defects, or wear-layer issues that occur under normal use conditions. If your floor fails because of how it was made, we'll replace the affected material.

What's Not Covered

These limitations apply across the flooring industry:

  • Labor. Warranty replacement covers material only.
  • The affected area only. Only the affected area is covered.
  • Non-transferable. Coverage belongs to the original purchaser.
  • Discontinued products. If your style is no longer in production, like-for-like replacement may not be possible.
  • Installed defects. Inspect every plank before it goes down. Flooring installed with visible defects is considered accepted.
  • Improper installation or care. See below.
Keeping Your Warranty Valid
  • Installation: Follow your collection's installation guide. Installing over unsuitable substrates (carpet, cork, rubber, foam, or any substrate with visible mold), adding unauthorized underlayment, or failing to note shipping damage on the bill of lading at delivery all void coverage.
  • Care: Avoid using a steam mop on any Flooret collection, steam can damage the finish. Use only cleaners formulated for your floor type. Protect furniture contact points with soft felt pads at least 1 inch in diameter.
  • Storage: Store Modin indoors at 40°F–90°F. Store Silvan and Arista at 50°F–85°F with 40–60% relative humidity. Never store outdoors or stack pallets.

A Note on Provence Natural Hardwood: In addition to the care rules above, you must acclimate the flooring for 72 hours before installation and maintain 65°F–80°F and 35–55% RH year-round. Keep a documentation log (installer credentials, moisture testing records, climate records, proof of purchase) for the full warranty period. Flooret requires these records to process any claim.

Common Questions

Does my warranty transfer when I sell my home?
Warranty coverage belongs to the original purchaser only. It is not transferrable.

What if my product is discontinued?
Like-for-like replacement isn't available for discontinued styles. Keep spare planks from your installation as attic stock.

Does the warranty cover normal scratches and dents?
Normal wear and tear isn't a manufacturing defect and isn't covered. For day-to-day protection tips, see our care and cleaning guides.
